GTMI Children's Home
Care, protection, and family restoration for orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda.
A Place Called Family
GTMI Children's Home provides residential care that prioritizes dignity, healing, and belonging for every child. We operate according to Ugandan child welfare standards and international best practices in alternative care.
Our approach centers on family reunification wherever possible. When children cannot return to birth families, we pursue connection with extended family or quality foster care. Every child receives education, healthcare, nutritious meals, life skills training, and emotional support from trained house parents and social workers. This is not an institution. This is home.

From Abandoned to Adopted into Hope
At age six, Sarah arrived at GTMI Children's Home after losing both parents. Through our family tracing program, social workers located her aunt in Eastern Uganda. After months of counseling and preparation, Sarah was joyfully reunited with extended family. Today she thrives in school and visits the Home as a big sister to new arrivals.
